Greetings from Mitchell College!

Mitchell College is special. There are more than 2,500 colleges and universities in the United States, but very few that connect excellent teaching in every classroom, have an intentionally supportive residence life program, and are committed to fully developing a student’s untapped academic potential. Mitchell College offers this and much more!

We created our new website to comprehensively describe the special qualities of Mitchell College. It contains detailed information about all facets of college life – from academics to athletics, support programs to clubs, news and events to applying on-line.

We recognize, that to educate for success, a college must put more emphasis on student asset development rather than student deficit management. This means creating programs that identify and cultivate each individual student’s strengths. It means instilling a sense of purpose throughout the campus and gaining a commitment from the faculty and the staff to carry out their work with student success as their primary focus.
