Middlesex Community College Partnership
In Spring 2006 Mitchell College partnered with Middlesex Community College in Middletown, Connecticut to offer courses leading to a bachelor's degree. Articulation Agreements for Criminal Justice and Early Childhood Education were signed allowing Middlesex CC graduates the opportunity to seamlessly continue their education at Mitchell College. Courses began for the Fall 2007 semester. Under the articulation agreements, Middlesex CC graduates may either attend classes in New London or in Middletown.
Admission to the Program:
Middlesex CC students may apply for admission to this program by completing the Mitchell College Online Application and indicating an interest in attending courses offered in Middletown. To complete the application, Admissions must also receive: official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended, an official high school transcript indicating graduation, a personal statement and at least one letter of recommendation.
Financial Aid:
Middlesex CC graduates who enroll in at least 6 credits a semester with Mitchell College are eligible to apply for financial aid through Mitchell College. Students must be formally accepted (or matriculated) to Mitchell College in order to receive a financial aid package.
