Book Store
*The book store is now located right next to Michaels Dairy.*
The Mitchell College Bookstore is operated by Bookstores of America and is located right next to Michaels Dairy. The Bookstore hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday - Thursday and Fridays 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Additional evening hours in the beginning of each semester will be posted. The bookstore accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover.

General Services:
Besides required books and supplies for course use, the Bookstore stocks a variety of merchandise and offers services of interest to the college community, including:
- Student and office supplies
- College imprinted items such as decals, glassware, pennants, sports wear, etc.
- Paperback books for leisure reading
- Greeting cards, social stationery
- Room accessories
Check Cashing Service:
The Bookstore also provides a student check-cashing service. Hours for this service are Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The following policies are strictly enforced:
- Personal checks (not starter checks) must be made payable to Mitchell College Bookstore.
- A valid Driver’s License must be presented.
- There is a $25 limit on personal checks (parents to students’ checks must be to “Mitchell College Bookstore”).
- There is a fee of $1.00 per check.
- There is a charge of $25 on returned checks.
Book Return Policy:
The Bookstore extends return privileges on course books under the following terms:
- All returns must be accompanied by the register receipt and add/drop form.
- Books purchased new, must be returned in new condition (no writing, bent covers, etc.)
- Returns are allowed until add/drop ends or within two business days on purchases made after Return Period.
- Textbooks purchased the last week of classes or during examination periods are not eligible for refunds.
