Study Abroad

The Study Abroad Program of Mitchell College will be the defining moment in your academic career. Whether it be traveling to exotic places like Thailand or China or taking on a senior internship with an organization in Ireland, your study abroad experience will definitely change your perspective on the world. While in foreign lands, each student will not only be able to earn academic credits towards your major and your electives, but it will also provide you with invaluable practical experience that will last a lifetime. Study Abroad Programs will also provide you with a language acquisition that is beginning to be required by many companies and will add to your resume material that is unequaled by any other college experience.

Presently, Mitchell College has partnerships with the following universities (short-term, semester-long and year-long study abroad programs in partnership with):

• Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand
• Chiang Mai University in Chiang Mai, Thailand
• Griffith College Dublin in Dublin, Ireland

Our recent trips have included a tour of Thailand (three weeks), a stay in Dublin, Ireland (four weeks), and a stay in Verona, Italy (three weeks).  Future trips include a tour of Morocco and a return to Ireland during summer 2009, and a return to Thailand during the 2009-2010 academic year.  Application and other deadlines will be posted separately for each trip.
